Shape Memory Alloy Vascular Stent

1. GNesigns its Shape Memory Alloy Vascular Stent on the basis of comprehensive consideration of factors such as the characteristics of aortic diseases, dissection structure of thoracic descending aorta and clinical effectiveness of similar products in the market. Its product has the following features:

a) “Beamless” structure, which increases flexibility of the stent. The circle direction is symmetrical. The stent can be released inside the aorta arc in any direction, which is more convenient for doctors to operate.

b) First international “shrinking” patented design, where the ordinary shrinking extent between near-heart and far-heart end can be 6, 8, 10,12mm, is more suitable for our physiological structure; its treatment effectiveness is better after the stent is implanted; far-heart end of the stent is designed softer in order to effectively avoid over expansion of far-heart vessels. 

c) The design for “post-release” of near-heart uncovered stent reduces the time of blood blockage, effectively prevents stent from any displacement. After the covered stent unfolds two of its front sections, we can still readjust the position of the stent in accordance with actual conditions, so as to insure that the stent is placed into the exact place. Meanwhile, it also ensures the stent’s intravascular form and effective length, avoiding any shrinking. 

d) “The quickest and safest” post-release design ensures safety and reliability, and significantly reduces the risk for any misoperation at the same time, which saves  doctor’s time and improving efficiency.
e) The design of “petal shape” near-heart uncovered stent is more convenient for the anchoring between the stent and intravascular wall, which avoids  displacement and reversed scratches at the same time.

f) Using “covered polyester” with fine biocompatibility, which ensures a stable long-term effectiveness by the close adhesion between the stent to the intravascular wall while curing diseases 

g) The “independent waving circles” of the structure adopts nose-to-tail connection method, which makes the stent more flexible and unlikely to shrink

h) “8” shaped platinum developing tag clearly shows the beginning and the end of film covered stent, which guides the positioning of stent during stent implantation and ensures the stent to be placed right into the exact location. 

i) The special structural design of “elastic tube” transportation apparatus significantly simplifies the transmission through the aorta arc, which lowers damages to intravascular wall and the pain to the patient, and effectively reducing surgical risks at the same time

2. Application

Mainly used for intervention treatment of type III aorta dissecting aneurism, aorta penetrating ulcer

3. Contraindications

Patients with anchoring area of both ends <1.5cm and femoral artery diameter <7mm

Patients with overly tortuous artery and the angle between the neck of aneurism and the body of it is over 60°.

The path for intervention treatment, including femoral artery, iliac artery, abdominal aorta and thoracic aorta, is overly tortuous, narrow or calcified. 

Exclusive aneurism shall have no artery branches inside, otherwise, the closure of it might lead to ischemia or paraplegia of limbs or viscera.
